KARACHI, Jul 23 (APP):Pakistan Rangers Sindh and Police carried out joint intelligence-based operations in Karachi, seizing large quantity of smuggled foreign cloth, powdered milk, and saffron worth millions of rupees from Quetta Bus Terminal and the Northern Bypass.
In a separate raid in Baldia Town, a suspect identified as Muhammad Waqas was arrested, according to a spokesperson for Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Wednesday.
A significant quantity of gutka/mawa was recovered from his possession. The arrested suspect has been handed over to police for further legal proceedings.
The spokesperson said that operations against smuggling will continue until the menace was eradicated from society.
