KARACHI, Oct 15 (APP):Sindh Madressatul Islam University has decided on Wednesday that the 2-Day, 3rd SMIU Global Research Congress (GRC) along with six international conferences will be organised on December 17-18, 2025 at the Sindh Madressatul Islam University.
In this respect the first meeting of the Central Executive Committee (CEC) of 3rd SMIU GRC-25 was held on Wednesday at the Conference Room of the university, which was chaired by the convener of the CEC Prof Dr Jamshed Adil Halepoto.
The meeting decided that the national and international scholars will be invited to read out their research papers. All the academic faculties of the university will organise separate international conferences during the two days of the GRC.
The departmental committees will be formed and research papers will be sought from national and international scholars. The CEC assigned tasks to the members of the CEC for preparation of the 3rd Global Research Congress.
The members of the CEC who attended the meeting were Dr Mansoor Ahmed Khuhro (Secretary of the CEC), Dr Abdul Hafeez Khan, Dr Stephen John, Asif Hussain Samo, Quratulain Nazir Ahmed, Abdul Waheed Jatoi, Yasir Shaukat, Asif Ghaffar and Anwar Ali Abro.
Later on, the members of the CEC held a meeting with the Vice Chancellor of SMIU Dr Mujeeb Sahrai, where Dr Sahrai said that like previous most successful two Global Research Congresses the 3rd SMIU GRC will also be one of the mega research events in the country, that will promote research culture and encourage academia to engage in the research practices.
He further said that the 3rd SMIU GRC will focus on multiple themes that will contribute in the research development of the country.
