Six roads to be rehabilitated

FAISALABAD, Oct 27 (APP):Deputy Commissioner (DC) Captain (Retired) Nadeem Nasir has approved the repair and rehabilitation of six major city roads spanning 5.45 kilometers, with an estimated cost of Rs. 360 million. This initiative aims to enhance urban mobility and ensure better travel facilities for the citizens of Faisalabad.
Chairing a meeting of the District Development Committee (DDC), DC Nasir reviewed various ongoing infrastructure projects and authorized the restoration, repair, and carpeting of roads that were identified as urgently requiring maintenance due to heavy public use and deteriorating conditions.
He instructed the relevant departments to expedite work on these approved projects, emphasizing the need for high-quality materials to ensure long-lasting and durable results. He stressed that the timely completion of these schemes would not only ease traffic congestion but also improve daily commuting comfort for residents across the city.
DC Nasir reiterated the district administration’s commitment to upgrading urban infrastructure as part of a comprehensive development plan, aimed at enhancing living standards and providing safe, reliable, and efficient road networks throughout Faisalabad.
