RAWALPINDI, Jul 09 (APP):Rawalpindi Police carried out successful anti-drug operations and arrested six drug dealers, recovering more than 9.5 kilograms of drugs from their possession.
According to a spokesman, Waris Khan Police held drug supplier and seized 5.2 kg drugs from his possession.
The dealer has a criminal record and is also wanted in cases of attempted murder, kidnapping, possession of illegal weapons, and hurling death threats.
Similarly, Sadiqabad Police apprehended 04 drug dealers and recovered 3.9 kg drugs from their custody.
While, Dhamyal Police arrested another drug dealer and seized 560 grams of drugs from him.
Police have registered separate cases and further investigation was in progress.
Police said the accused will be presented in court with valid evidence.
City Police Officer CPO Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani stated that all available resources were being used to eliminate drugs from society.
