HYDERABAD, Nov 15 (APP): A delegation of prominent civil society activists and members of SindhNet Council visited the DEPD–NDF Rehabilitation Center in Qasimabad, Hyderabad here Saturday to observe the ongoing services and rehabilitation initiatives for children with disabilities.
Abid Lashari, President of the National Disability and Development Forum (NDF) and member SindhNet Council, briefed the visitors about the center’s comprehensive services, including rehabilitation, therapy and support for children with Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, and other intellectual disabilities across Sindh.
The delegation of SindhNet members comprising on Akram Khaskheli, Muhabat Mangrio, Abdul Hameed Arain, Noor Mangi, and Shahzad Khaskheli appreciated the NDF’s impactful work. They commended the center’s commitment, dedication and continued efforts towards improving the lives of children with disabilities and supporting their families.
The visitors highlighted the importance of strengthening such initiatives for an inclusive Sindh and assured their support in advancing disability rights and rehabilitation services.
