Sindh University announces admissions for Chinese Language Program
HYDERABAD, Sep 15 (APP):The Area Study Centre for East and Southeast Asia, University of Sindh Jamshoro has announced admissions to its Chinese Language Program, offering students and young people an opportunity to learn Chinese language and culture and explore international educational and career opportunities.
According to a university spokesperson, the six-month program would offer Basic, Intermediate, Advanced Chinese Language and Chinese Business Communication courses.
The minimum educational qualification required for admission is Intermediate. The program will not only help participants learn Chinese but also develop their understanding of Chinese culture, improve communication skills and enhance their career prospects, preparing them to benefit from international educational and professional opportunities.
Special fee concessions have been offered to University of Sindh students. The monthly fee for university students has been fixed at Rs3,000, while other candidates will have to pay Rs5,000.
Classes would be held on Mondays and Tuesdays from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The last date for registration is September 25, 2026, while classes will commence from October 5.
The program will be conducted under the supervision of Director Area Study Centre for East and Southeast Asia Dr Ishrat Afshan Abbasi, Coordinator Dr Ronaque Ali Behan and Instructor Furqan Ahmed Khan.
Experts said the program would provide students and young people with an important opportunity to learn Chinese while opening new avenues for international education, employment and career development. Interested candidates have been advised to complete their registration before the deadline.
