Sindh started IT training program for 10,000 youth: Nasir Shah

KARACHI, Aug 27 (APP):Sindh Minister for Energy and Planning and Development, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Tuesday, said that Sindh government has started an IT training program for 10,000 youth to equip them with emerging job-oriented technologies.
The scope of the program will be enhanced to 100,000 youth in a gradual manner, the minster stated while addressing during visit of the 25th ITCN Asia 2024 International IT and Telecom Show, Exhibition and Conference and later talking to media at Expo Center Karachi.
The information and communication technology has turned the world into a global village and Sindh government, on the directives of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, was taking various measures for training of the youth in job oriented latest technologies, he said and informed that IT training program was part of those endeavors.
Nasir Shah appreciated the organizers of the event and termed the exhibition as a ray of hope for the youth. He expressed pleasure that more than 25 thousand youth and businessmen have visited the exhibition on the opening day. Our youth is talented and future of Pakistan is bright, he added.
Minister said that famous domestic and foreign institutions were participating in the exhibition which included delegates from Iran, Saudi Arabia, China and Turkey as well as well-known organizations such as international brand Huawei, Google Cloud, Odo, TP-Link.
The minister, on the occasion, visited stalls of Iran and NRTC, appreciated their efforts and thanked them for their participation. Nasir Shah also appreciated skills and briefing of the youth present at the stalls.
