Sindh HEC hosts ‘Sindh Start-up Exhibition

HYDERABAD, May 31 (APP):The Sindh Higher Education Commission (Sindh HEC) organized a vibrant event titled “Sindh Start-up Exhibition” in Karachi, bringing together universities and innovators from across the province to showcase their entrepreneurial ventures.
Among the many participants, the University of Sindh, Jamshoro also installed an impressive stall highlighting its students’ innovative projects and startup initiatives.
The Chief Minister of Sindh visited the exhibition and showed keen interest in the stall set up by the University of Sindh.
He spent considerable time reviewing the items on display and appreciated the university’s efforts in promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Speaking to the SU team, the Chief Minister commended the students’ creativity and noted that such initiatives reflected the progressive academic environment fostered by the University of Sindh.
He further encouraged the university to continue supporting youth-led startups and said that Universities like Sindh University played a pivotal role in developing an entrepreneurial mindset among students, which he said, was crucial for the economic development of the province.
In addition, the Consul General of Oman in Karachi also visited the exhibition and took a special interest in the University of Sindh’s stall.
Dr. Salman representing the university briefed the Consul General about the innovative products and ideas developed by the students.
The diplomat lauded the efforts of the University of Sindh for promoting startup culture and bringing forward creative, market-oriented solutions.
On the occasion, SU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Khalil ur Rehman Khoumbati, Dr. Farhat Noreen and other senior officials were also present.
The VC expressed his commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship through academic support and industry collaboration.
