Sindh Governor, CM pay tribute to IIOJK people

KARACHI, Jan 05 (APP):Sindh Governor Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Monday paid tributes to the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) on the occasion of Right to Self-Determination Day.
In their separate special messages, they said that the United Nations Security Council recognized the right to self-determination of the IIOJK people in 1949.
They said that India has blatantly violated the UN resolutions and India’s forced occupation of IIOJK is a clear violation of international law.
The IIOJK people cannot be deprived of their right to self-determination, they said adding that they fully support the just struggle of the IIOJK people.
The Kashmir issue should be resolved in accordance with the UN resolutions, they demanded.
The Sindh Governor Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that the sacrifices of the IIOJK people will not go in vain and Pakistan stands with its IIOJK brothers on every forum.
The international community must take notice of human rights violations in IIOJK, they demanded saying that Right to Self-Determination Day serves as a reminder of the Kashmiri people’s struggle.
