KARACHI, Oct 07 (APP):Sindh Governor Muhammed Kamran Tessori met with Governor Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Syed Mehdi Shah at Sindh Governor House, here on Tuesday.
They discussed federal development projects, tourism promotion, the recent flood in Gilgit-Baltistan and issues of mutual interest.
The Sindh Governor said that the completion of development projects will bring a significant reduction in public problems.
He also expressed his concern over the recent floods in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Tessori said we were standing with the people of Gilgit-Baltistan in this hour of difficulty.
The Governor of Gilgit-Baltistan said that severe destruction due to recent floods, many areas, and hundreds of houses were flooded.
Mehdi Shah said that federal support is essential for flood damage recovery and rehabilitation.
He said that tourism was also being promoted in Gilgit-Baltistan with the support of the federal government.
