Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah arrives in Sukkur, announces China visit

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah arrived at Sukkur Airport on Saturday. He was accompanied by Provincial Minister for Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, MNA Noman Islam Shaikh, District Council Chairman Syed Kumail Haider Shah, Mayor Sukkur Barrister Arsalan Islam Shaikh and Syed Asad Ali Shah.

SUKKUR, Oct 10 (APP):Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah arrived at Sukkur Airport on Saturday.
He was accompanied by Provincial Minister for Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, MNA Noman Islam Shaikh, District Council Chairman Syed Kumail Haider Shah, Mayor Sukkur Barrister Arsalan Islam Shaikh and Syed Asad Ali Shah.
Divisional Commissioner Sukkur, Abid Saleem Qureshi, DIG Nisar Aftab, Deputy Commissioner Nadir Shahzad Khan and SSP Ahmed Faisal Chaudhry were also present at the airport to receive the chief minister.
Talking to media representatives at the airport, the Chief Minister said he will be leaving for a visit to China from Monday. During the visit to China, 15 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) will be signed, he said.
He said important agreements will be signed in China regarding improvement and investment in Thar Coal.
“There will also be progress regarding setting up plants for manufacturing EV scooters,” he added.
The Chief Minister said Pakistan and China share a friendship spanning over 70 years, which was initiated by Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
He said electricity production from Thar Coal has increased, and the additional production was inaugurated by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
The Chief Minister said a provincial NFC Award will be given so that provinces can generate their own resources.
He said subsidies are being given to growers to increase wheat production. “Wheat is available in abundance in Sindh and official wheat is being released to keep prices stable,” he said.
