KARACHI, Jul 15 (APP): Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah met with Federal Insurance Ombudsman Mumtaz Ali Shah, who presented his annual report detailing the protection of insurance policyholders’ rights across the country.
The Ombudsman reported receiving 6,116 complaints in 2024, of which 5,827 (95.27%) have been resolved, with action underway on the remaining 289 cases.
The Chief Minister appreciated the Ombudsman’s performance and directed for increased public awareness to help policyholders better understand their rights and resolve issues with insurance companies.
