Sindh CM expresses satisfaction over peaceful observance of Ashura-e-Muharram across Sindh
KARACHI, Jun 26 (APP):Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah on Friday expressed satisfaction over the peaceful observance of Youm-e-Ashura Muharram-ul-haram across the province.
Syed Murad Ali Shah highly commends all security agencies for their excellent security arrangements.
He praised the performance of the administration and police for making foolproof security arrangements for Ashura across the province.
He said that the Rangers, Police, and Pakistan Army played a pivotal role in maintaining law and order across Sindh. The peaceful observance of Ashura is a joint success of the administration, police, and Rangers, he added.
CM said that Ashura remained peaceful due to the round-the-clock efforts of the law enforcement agencies.
He commends the local government bodies for their sanitation and lighting arrangements along the procession routes. All institutions worked collaboratively to provide facilities to citizens and mourners, as noted.
CM Murad Ali Shah expressed gratitude to the religious scholars across the province. The religious scholars fostered an atmosphere of brotherhood and unity throughout Muharram-ul-Haram, he said.
“I am grateful to you for maintaining an atmosphere of brotherhood and inter-faith harmony,” the CM said in a message to the religious scholars.
He said that the cooperation of religious leaders in promoting law and order and religious tolerance in the province is highly praiseworthy. The joint efforts of the scholars, the administration, and the public successfully foiled the conspiracies of miscreants, he said.
