Sindh CM condemns Afghan aggression

KARACHI, Oct 12 (APP): Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Sunday condemned Afghan aggression, saying that Pakistan would not compromise on its sovereignty under any circumstances.
He said that terrorist attacks from Afghan soil were intolerable.
Murad Shah said that Afghan leadership should take practical steps against terrorist elements.
He said that Pakistan had always tried to have good relations with brotherly country Afghanistan.
Using Afghan soil against Pakistan was a violation of international laws, he said adding that the war against terrorism was not only Pakistan’s responsibility but it was a shared responsibility.
The Chief Minister said that provocations by Afghanistan were a threat to regional peace.
Pakistan had always given a message of peace, cooperation and brotherhood, he said adding that attacks on Pakistani citizens and security personnel were unacceptable.
He stressed that the Afghan government should prevent terrorists from using its soil.
Shah said that Pakistan had always shown goodwill towards the Afghan people and Afghanistan should not consider Pakistan’s patience and tolerance as weakness.
He said that Pakistan wanted peace and would defend its sovereignty.
He further said that regional peace was possible only with mutual respect and responsible behavior.
