ABBOTTABAD, Nov 30 (APP):Sidra Foundation, in collaboration with the social welfare organization Bagan Ki Aawaz, hosted a mental health camp at Government High School Bagan in Abbottabad District.
The initiative aimed to raise awareness among students about mental well-being and equip them with essential coping strategies, says a press release.
Psychologist Sidra Al-Muntaha, Chairman Sidra Foundation, Rehan Khan, Shahid Jadoon, Dr. Arsalan Qureshi, and Bagan Ki Aawaz representative Sardar Yasir attended the event as special guests.
The school principal and staff warmly welcomed the visiting team.
Throughout the camp, students received guidance on recognizing mental stress, understanding its effects, adopting problem-solving skills, and developing a positive lifestyle.
Dr. Sidra delivered an in-depth session highlighting the significance of mental health, early symptoms of psychological issues, and effective ways for students to overcome common emotional challenges.
She stressed that such awareness programs are vital for building a mentally resilient youth.
