SIALKOT, Aug 28 (APP):The Sialkot police on Thursday successfully rescued 3,305 people including 1,435 men, 830 women and 1,040 children during the flash floods in urban and rural areas.
Under the command of DPO Faisal Shehzad, at least 1,575 police officials and 49 vehicles took part in flood rescue operation.
As per a release of the Police Department, police team covered 195 villages and 35 city areas to provide rescue facility to the victims. The police teams also saved 557 cattle-heads.
The DPO said that the Police Department used safe city and drone cameras to rescue flood victims.
