SHEIKHUPURA, Jul 29 (APP): Deputy Commissioner Sheikhupura Dr. Waqar Ali Khan on Monday announced a district-wide campaign to eliminate illegal encroachments and improve cleanliness.
According to DC Office, This effort is part of the “Suthra Punjab” program initiated by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
Dr. Waqar Ali Khan stated that all machinery and staff are fully mobilized to make cities, towns and villages clean and attractive.
The focus is on providing excellent municipal services, ensuring cleanliness and removing illegal encroachments.
Significant progress has been made with parks and green areas looking lush and green.
Municipal staff are regularly cleaning sewer lines, water disposals and covering drains.
DC emphasized that the district administration’s top priority is to provide a good environment for the people under the “Suthra Punjab” program.
