HYDERABAD, Nov 21 (APP):The Sindh High Court here on Friday expressed dismay over the Jamshoro police for failing to either recover a missing 14 years old boy or to come up with some evidence concerning the death of that child.
The Hyderabad Circuit Bench of justice Adnan-ul-Karim Memon and justice Riasat Ali Sehar directed the police to ensure that the DNA report of a second day body, exhumed on the court’ order, was obtained at the earliest.
Ruqiya Aziz Sehto, mother of Ghulam Rasool alias Umair Sehto, apprised the court that earlier the police disinterred the dead body of an adult young man in search for the body of her son.
The woman’s lawyer, advocate Nawaz Panjuta, blamed the police for delaying the investigation as more than 5 months had passed since the boy went missing.
Sehto had gone missing on June 17 from Shahi Bazar in Sehwan, Jamshoro district.
The bench adjourned the hearing to December 20 while ordering the police to come up with the DNA report of the exhumed dead body.
