KARACHI, Dec 16 (APP): Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has paid tribute to the martyrs of the APS tragedy, saying that on the completion of 11 years since the tragedy, they honor the innocent children who sacrificed their lives for knowledge, peace, and a brighter future for Pakistan.
He said the APS tragedy is a painful chapter in the nation’s history that united the entire country. He added that the fight against terrorism is not only the responsibility of the state but a shared responsibility of the whole nation.
Sharjeel Inam Memon said the blood of the martyrs conveys the message that the darkness of fear, hatred, and extremism can be defeated through education, awareness, and unity.
He said the nation must pledge to provide its children with a safe, peaceful, and developed Pakistan, where the power of the pen is stronger than the gun.
He said the true strength of the nation lies in its youth, and the sacrifice of the APS martyrs teaches lessons of courage, perseverance, and hope. He added that the struggle against terrorism and extremism will continue at all levels to fulfill the mission of the martyrs.
