KARACHI, Oct 08 (APP):Sindh Senior Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon has strongly condemned the murder of journalist Tufail Haiderani Rind in Mirpur Mathelo and expressed deep sorrow over the incident.
In a statement, Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said the attack on the journalist was a tragic and condemnable act. He said the Sindh government stood with the family of the slain journalist in their time of grief.
Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said such incidents could not be tolerated as they amounted to an attack on freedom of expression.
He added that the Sindh Chief Minister had taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the inspector general of police. Those responsible, he said, would be brought to justice at the earliest.
