SUKKUR, Aug 28 (APP):Renowned senior politician and social leader Syed Shafqat Ali Shah has expressed deep sorrow and regret over the devastation caused by floods and rains in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
In a statement on Thursday, Syed Shafqat Ali Shah extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the calamity.
He expressed his solidarity with the flood-affected people and stated that he stands with the families who have suffered losses in the floods. He also expressed deep sympathy with the farmers who have suffered massive losses to their crops and livestock.
Shah praised the bravery and services of the armed forces and rescue organizations, saying that they have set an army of the people in times of crisis and have set a shining example of service to humanity.
He emphasized the need for the Sindh government to take immediate measures to prepare for the impending large-scale flood. He expressed confidence that the Pakistani nation will face the challenges with courage and determination, just as it has in the past.
The politician expressed his conviction that, like the floods of 2010 and 2022, the nation will emerge with honor and resilience this time as well.
