NAWABSHAH, Sep 30 (APP): Sindh Graduates Association (SGA) Nawabshah branch organized an honour reception in recognition of Mr. Abid Lashari, recipient of the Pakistan Civil Award Tamgha-i-Imtiaz, and Mr. Shuhab Mallah, who has been recently posted as Director General, PITE.
On this occasion, Mr. Abdullah Ghumro, President SGA Nawabshah, said that the award is a moment of pride for SGA Nawabshah. He stated, “Mr. Lashari is our proud member. He never gave up and continued his services with dedication until he achieved his destination.” Mr. Mallah is a visionary and dedicated personality, his posting as DG PITE will bring difference in Sindh in terms of teacher training indeed.
Mr. Lal Chand Lohana (General Secretary SGA Nawabshah), Rafiq Ahmed Buller, Shahzado Jaskani, Farooq Bhatti, Asadullah Shah, Abdul Razzaq Rind, Roshan Ali Otho, and others also congratulated Mr. Lashari and Mr. Mallah on their remarkable successes.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Abid Lashari, President of National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) Pakistan, shared his inspiring journey from childhood disability to receiving the Civil Award.
He said that challenges for children with disabilities in society were immense, but his vision was always greater than the challenges.
Mr. Lashari remarked that the opportunities did not knock at his door, but he knocked on every next door. With strong passion and belief, he kept exploring until a ray of hope slowly appeared. His commitment with his passion proved that hope never dies, and ‘never give up’ is always the way forward.
The Pakistan Civil Award is a great honour, but it is not his alone — it is a reward for untiring efforts, for rural communities, for the poor, and for the hope of a man who never gave up.”
