SIALKOT, Jan 06 (APP):Sewa Foundation Sialkot presented gifts of warm clothing and shoes to the children of SOS Children’s Village Sialkot here in a special ceremony organized under its humanitarian and social welfare initiatives.
On this occasion, President Sewa Foundation Sheikh Bilal Jahangir said that SOS Children’s Village Pakistan was a great welfare organization that was not only providing a safe and loving home to orphaned, destitute and deprived children but is also paying special attention to their education, health and training.
He said, “This institution instills confidence and self-reliance in the personality of children by providing them with a family-like environment adding that Sewa Foundation will continue to provide all possible support for the convenience of children and soon water coolers will be provided to provide clean drinking water in SOS Village Sialkot.”
Project Manager Sewa Foundation Mobeena Naqvi, while addressing the ceremony, said that every child has the fundamental right to a safe and peaceful life. SOS was a platform where children see their dreams turn into reality.
She thanked Assistant Director SOS Sialkot Nabila Bajwa for her administrative skills and expressed his determination that Sewa Foundation would continue to participate fully in such welfare projects in the future as well.
