DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Jul 23 (APP):In a targeted crackdown against criminal elements, Police arrested seven suspects, including a wanted criminal, during a search and strike operation in the jurisdiction of Paroa Police Station, police said Wednesday.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of District Police Officer Sajjad Ahmad Sahibzada and led by SDPO Paroa Circle Sardar Alamgir Khan along with SHO Malik Sajid.
During the operation, four suspicious individuals were taken into custody. In a separate action, accused Muhammad Safdar, son of Muhammad Afzal, currently residing in Dhapanwala, was arrested after 50 grams of hashish and 110 grams of crystal meth (ice) were recovered from his possession. A case has been registered against him.
Moreover, Muhammad Umair, son of Shah Nawaz a resident of Ghonse, who was wanted in a registered case, was also apprehended during the operation.
Additionally, Muhammad Ramzan, son of Qadir Bakhsh and resident of Naivela, was booked for violating National Action Plan.
Police said the operations would continue without discrimination to ensure peace and public safety in the district.
