SARGODHGA, Nov 04 (APP): Police arrested seven gamblers on Tuesday and seized bet money amounting to Rs. 22,000, along with three mobile phones, from their possession.
A police spokesman reported that the arrests were part of an ongoing crackdown against anti-social elements.
According to the spokesperson, Factory Area Police acted on a tip-off and conducted raids in various areas, leading to the arrest of the seven individuals.
The accused have been identified as Muhammad Usman, Muhammad Mehran, Kashif Ali, Nasir Khan, Asif Iqbal, Saad, Waqas, and Faisel.
Separate cases have been registered against them under the Gambling Act.
