BAHAWALPUR, Jul 29 (APP):Police arrested seven suspects and recovered narcotics and weapons from their possession.
According to a spokesman for Bahawalpur police, acting on tip-off, police teams of PS Civil Lines and PS Noshahra Jadid arrested two suspects and recovered 45 liters liquor from their possession. In another raid, a police team of PS Uch apprehended a drug peddler and recovered over two kilograms of hashish from his possession.
Police parties of three police stations including PS Chani Goth, PS Sama Satta and PS Noshahrad Jadid have taken four suspects into custody and recovered four pistols from their possession.
The police have registered separate cases against the suspects and launched investigations.
