SARGODHA, Sep 25 (APP):A seminar on ‘’Effects of growing population’’ was held by the Population Welfare Department
Bhakar for public awareness at Dullewal in tehsil Darya khan on Monday.
In the ceremony, officials, teachers, local political leaders and people from all walks of life
were present on the occasion.
Deputy District Population Welfare Officer Muhammad Ramzan Awan said rapidly growing
population was a matter of concern due to which ratio of unemployment, shortage of residential
and educational facilities were also increasing.
“By controlling population we can achieve target of economic growth,” he added.
He urged teachers and political leaders to play their active role to raise awareness among
public regarding importance of family planning.
