MUZAFFARGARH , Nov 13 (APP):A seminar was held at Government High School Khan Garh to raise awareness among students about physical assault, with a focus on the modern technologies implemented by the Punjab Police.
According to a police spokesman, the event was organized under the direction of District Police Officer (DPO) Syed Ghazanfar Ali Shah to educate both male and female students on how to effectively report and manage assault complaints.
During his speech, SDPO Mirza Mohammad Sadiq emphasized that the Police Gender Crime Unit is always available to assist students and minors in registering complaints of assault. He encouraged students to use various official mobile applications to report incidents promptly and securely.
The SDPO highlighted several apps, including Pukar, 15, Mera Pyar, Safe City, Pink Button, and the Women Safety App, all designed to facilitate quick and safe reporting.
He also reassured the audience that the protection of women and children remains a top priority for the Punjab Police and announced that similar awareness sessions would be held in other schools and colleges across the district. The school principal also addressed the attendees at the event.
