ISLAMABAD, Oct 29 (APP):A Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar was held at Saeed International Hospital here to promote timely diagnosis and preventive healthcare among women.
The event was attended by doctors, academicians, students, and political representatives, including Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University, Sarhad University, PHR Institute, and East West Institute.
Prof Dr Rooh ul Ameen and Dr Numan Khattak led sessions, practical demonstrations, and interactive discussions focusing on early symptoms, risk factors, and preventive strategies related to breast cancer.
Superintendent of Police, Islamabad, Ms. Pari Gul Tareen, attended as chief guest.
“Breast cancer is a serious yet treatable disease. Early screening and proper guidance can save countless lives,” she said. Dr. Muhammad Noman Saeed Khattak, Chief Executive Officer of Saeed International Hospital said that the hospital is offering free checkups and discounted mammography to encourage early diagnosis.
