FAISALABAD, Oct 29 (APP):The district administration, in collaboration with the Punjab Council of Arts and Naat Academy, organised a Seerat-un-Nabi conference at the Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Auditorium on Wednesday to highlight the message of peace, brotherhood, tolerance, and love taught by Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The conference was attended by prominent religious scholars representing various schools of thought, including Sahibzada Faiz Rasool, Maulana Riaz Kharal, Mufti Liaquat Ali, Allama Syed Haider Raza, Prof. Khan Chishti, and Allama Asif Qadri.
Addressing the gathering, Sahibzada Faiz Rasool said that Islam is a religion of peace, brotherhood, and loyalty to the state, not of chaos and division. He stressed that the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) teaches patience, tolerance, and compassion for humanity. “If we truly adopt the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in our daily lives, we can eradicate hatred, prejudice, and injustice from society,” he said, urging unity against anti-national propaganda and divisive narratives.
Maulana Riaz Kharal stated that those spreading hatred and discord should be guided toward reform in the light of Seerat-un-Nabi. He said the purpose of organizing the conference was to educate the youth about the true spirit of Islam and inspire them to follow the Prophet’s example. “We must practically implement the Seerat-e-Prophet (PBUH) in our individual and collective lives to enable the Muslim Ummah to regain its path of progress and dignity,” he added.
Other scholars highlighted that the Seerat-e-Tayyaba teaches unity, discipline, and stability of the state, asserting that the entire nation must stand together to thwart elements spreading chaos. They described the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as the best response to sectarianism, extremism, and anti-state tendencies.
The event concluded with a special ‘dua’ for peace, prosperity, and the progress of Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah.
