HYDERABAD, Dec 19 (APP):The Sindh Secretary Universities and Boards Department has suspended Chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Hyderabad, according to a notification issued on Friday.
As per the notification, an undue delay in announcement of the examination results of classes XI and X of Hyderabad division had been cited as the reason for the suspension of Prof Dr Shuja Ahmed Mahesar.
Mahesar had been directed to report at the department’s head office in Karachi where he could draw pay and allowances until completion of an inquiry against him.
The Secretary had given the additional charge of BISE Hyderabad to Chairman BISE Sukkur Dr Zahid Ali Channar, who would continue to hold the charge till further orders. Dr Channar had been directed to announce the pending results within 30 days.
