Sargodha, Jul 29 (APP):Commissioner Jahanzeb Awan on Tuesday presided over a meeting of Sargodha Division Development Working Party (SDWP) and approved six road construction and repair schemes for District Khushab, including key tourist routes in the Soon Valley.
According to Commissioner’s office spokesperson here, the SDWP approved schemes including Mirdawal Chowk to Khushab Boundary 11 km road construction, Khushab Nowshera Road to Sodhri Jajuwali, 13 km road construction via Biakhel Kial, Khibeki to Khushab Nowshera Road a 7 km road construction via Uchhali, Jahlar Mor to Kurdi 10.5 km road construction via Goser up to Uchhali, Ugali to Chitta and Uchhali Lake a 7 km road construction and Mardwal to Anga Local Population a 7.5 km road construction.
The Commissioner emphasized that no compromise will be made on road construction and repair.
The Deputy Commissioner Khushab was directed to personally monitor the schemes, ensure transparent utilization of funds, and complete the projects within the specified timeframe.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Sargodha, Captain (R) Muhammad Wasim, Director Development Bilal Hassan, Deputy Director Technical Rana Shahid Imran, SE Highways, Public Health Engineering, Local Government, and Building officials, as well as Deputy Commissioners of Khushab, Mianwali, and Bhakkar.
