DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Nov 28 (APP): Acting on the directions of District Police Officer (DPO), Sajjad Ahmed Sahibzada, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Suburb Circle Kashif Sattar convened a meeting with senior members of the Shia and Sunni communities, as well as imams from various local mosques here on Friday.
According to a spokesperson, the meeting focused on the overall law-and-order situation, promotion of interfaith harmony, strengthening religious tolerance, and enhancing community-level cooperation.
SDPO Kashif Sattar briefed the religious scholars and community elders on the security measures taken by the police and highlighted the importance of public cooperation in maintaining peace in the region.
The community leaders appreciated the efforts of the police and assured their full support in all initiatives aimed at ensuring stability and harmony in the area.
