ISLAMABAD, Dec 22 (APP):Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Kohsar, Nausherwan Ahsan Minhas, participated in a Christmas cake-cutting ceremony held at Kohsar Police Station, reflecting Islamabad Police’s commitment to interfaith harmony and the protection of minority rights.
An official told APP on Monday that police officers and members of the Christian community attended the ceremony, which was organised to share goodwill and strengthen mutual respect.
On the occasion, SDPO Kohsar extended Christmas greetings to the Christian community and reaffirmed that Islamabad Police stand united with citizens of all faiths.
He said that ensuring the safety, dignity and equal rights of minorities is a top priority of Islamabad Police, adding that such initiatives help promote harmony and peaceful coexistence in the federal capital.
The participants appreciated the gesture and expressed hope that these engagements would further strengthen trust between the police and minority communities.
