SIALKOT, Sep 29 (APP):Syed Ahtesham Mazhar, President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), attended
seminar titled “Sialkot’s Prince of Character Puran Bhagat: From Heritage to Tourism,”
organized by the SCCI Departmental Committee on Tourism, Culture & Archaeology,
chaired by Khalid Latif.
The seminar focused on the historical and cultural significance of Puran Bhagat, the traditions
associated with his story, and the potential of connecting Sialkot’s rich heritage with
tourism promotion.
Rana Arif Iqbal Harna, Provincial Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism, Culture & Archaeology, attended the seminar as the chief guest.
During the seminar, Khalid Latif, Chairman, SCCI Departmental Committee on Tourism, Culture & Archaeology, highlighted the importance of researching, documenting and preserving Sialkot’s historical and cultural heritage and promoting it among younger generations through heritage tourism.
