SUKKUR, Jun 09 (APP): A delegation from the Sukkur Chamber of Commerce (SCCI), led by President Muhammad Khalid Kakizai, met with senior politician and Member of the National Assembly, Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah, at his residence on the third day of Eid.
The delegation included Vice President Malik Owais Rais and former President Aamir Ali Khan Ghori.
During the meeting, the delegation discussed several key issues, including the deteriorating law and order situation in Sukkur, the public’s grievances stemming from Suki Electricity Company’s (SEPCO) inefficient performance, and concerns related to environmental changes. The discussion also touched on the recently presented federal budget in the National Assembly.
The delegation and Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah exchanged views on the potential impacts of the budget and the challenges faced by the business community at the local level. Shah assured the delegation that he would raise these important issues at the national level and make every effort to find solutions to these problems.
The meeting highlighted the chamber’s efforts to engage with key stakeholders to address pressing issues affecting the business community and the general public in Sukkur.
