SIALKOT, Dec 05 (APP):The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Friday held a Women Entrepreneurship event at the Sialkot Business and Commerce Centre to support women in business.
According to a spokesperson,Chief Manager SBP Sialkot,Waqas Kashif Bajwa spoke about the importance of women in business and highlighted SBP’s loans and digital banking services for women.
President of the Women Chamber,Dr.Mariam Siddiqa encouraged women to start businesses, hile Sialkot Chamber VP Salman Sheikh praised their growing role in the economy.
The event included stalls offering financial services and certificates and shields were given to successful young women entrepreneurs.
Participants said the event helped boost women’s confidence in business.
