LAHORE, Oct 09 (APP): The fruits of Saudi Arabian defense pact have begun to emerge, with the Overseas Employment Corporation announcing large-scale employment opportunities for Pakistani medical professionals, for Saudi Arabia.
According to the advertisement issued Thursday, a leading healthcare institution in Saudi Arabia wants to employ five consultant surgeons and forty qualified nurses. These positions are open to both men and women, provided they meet the educational and professional standards.
The fields required for consultants are as follows: Consultant Retina Surgeon, Consultant Vascular Surgeon, Consultant Plastic Surgeon, Consultant Pediatric Ophthalmologist and, Squint Surgeon, Consultant Ophthalmologist (Oculoplastic Surgeon).
Board certification and at least five years of post-fellowship experience have been made mandatory for each consultant.
Additionally, forty nursing posts are also available in various departments, including ICU, NICU, Emergency and General Nursing. These posts are only for women, who are below 35 years of age, have a 16-year B.Sc and at least five years of relevant experience.
