SAU ITC students win top positions in project exhibition, programming competition

HYDERABAD, Dec 01 (APP):Students of the Information Technology Centre (ITC) at Sindh Agriculture University (SAU), Tandojam have brought honor to the institution by clinching first and third positions in the Project Exhibition and Programming Competition held at the Sukkur IBA University’s Mirpurkhas Campus. The Vice Chancellor of SAU has extended heartfelt congratulations to the winning students and their faculty.
According to the SAU spokesperson, the inter-university event organized by the Skill Builder Society and Soft Tech Sources, featured innovative ideas, mobile applications, software modules and various IT-based projects. Students from four universities and two colleges participated in the competition and presented diverse technological solutions.
In the Project Exhibition category, Ashfaq Ali, a final-year student, secured the first position, while Dev Das, a third-year student, achieved the third position in the highly competitive speed programming competition.
The ceremony’s chief guest, Commissioner Mirpurkhas Faisal Ahmed Uqaili presented awards to the winners and lauded their creativity, noting that the enthusiasm of youth in modern technology was a promising sign for the region’s future. He encouraged students to continue engaging in such competitions to remain aligned with global technological advancements.
SAU Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal congratulated the students and ITC faculty, and said SAU students continue to demonstrate excellence at the national level. These achievements reflect our commitment to quality education, innovation and preparing our youth to meet the emerging technological challenges.
He reaffirmed the University’s dedication to promote research, creativity and student participation in academic and professional contests.
