Sardar Saleem Haider confident of PPP regaining lost ground in Punjab

LAHORE, Jan 09 (APP):Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will soon regain its lost position in Punjab.
“Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is a charismatic leader who can take the country forward in a better way,” he said during a meeting with a delegation led by Syed Daud Ali Gilani at the Governor House Lahore.
On this occasion, workers of different political parties announced their formal joining of the Pakistan People’s Party.
Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan emphasized the need for collective efforts to achieve peace, stability, and development in the country.
He reaffirmed Pakistan People’s Party’s commitment to serving the people, stating that party workers and activists are their strength and will be supported.
Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that the workers and leaders of different parties expressed their confidence in the leadership of the PPP.
He said, “We all need to work together for peace, stability and development in the country.” He said that the PPP believes in strengthening of institutions, the supremacy of the Constitution and the law.
The Governor Punjab said that the PPP is the only political party that has always raised voice for the rights of the people. He said, “The party workers are our strength and we will not leave them alone.”
He said the doors of the Governor House are open for the people.
