SUKKUR, Oct 14 (APP):The Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) on Monday conducted its Pre-Entry Test 2026, with Vice Chancellor (VC), Professor Dr. Yousuf Khushk extending heartfelt congratulations to the faculty, staff, and student volunteers for their collective efforts.
Dr. Khushk praised the university community for ensuring a peaceful and well-organized test, reflecting the dedication and hard work of the entire SALU family. He emphasized that the university’s commitment to progress, learning, and the bright future of its students is evident in its collective spirit of service and excellence.
The Vice Chancellor noted that 5,440 candidates had applied for admission against approximately 2,300 available seats, showcasing the growing trust of society in the university. He attributed this trust to the quality education and services provided by the faculty, officers, and employees.
He highlighted the university’s achievements, including the signing of several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with national and international institutions, benefiting students and faculty. He also announced that scholarships worth Rs. 130 million had been awarded to deserving students last year.
The Vice Chancellor reaffirmed the university’s commitment to providing holistic education, including moral and ethical learning, and ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder access to education. He appreciated the positive role of the media in promoting education and noted the growing participation of female students in higher education.
Faculty members, officers, and employees congratulated Dr. Khushk on this milestone, commending his visionary leadership and commitment to academic excellence. They expressed their appreciation for his dedication and leadership, which has elevated the standards of education at SALU.
