QUETTA, Oct 15 (APP):Balochistan Minister for Irrigation and Leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of veteran PPP leader and former Speaker of the Sindh Assembly, Agha Siraj Durrani.
In a heartfelt condolence message issued on Wednesday, Minister Umrani praised Durrani’s lifelong dedication to public service, describing him as a seasoned and principled politician who devoted his life to the preservation of democracy and the advancement of Sindh.
“Agha Siraj Durrani was a soft-spoken, democratic-minded leader who remained steadfast in his commitment to the PPP’s manifesto, even in the face of adversity,” Umrani added.
He emphasized Durrani’s pivotal role in strengthening democratic institutions and contributing to national progress, noting that his legacy would be remembered for generations.
“His passing is a profound loss for the Pakistan Peoples Party. We have been deprived of a sincere and loyal leader whose contributions to the party and the country will not be forgotten,” he added.
Minister Sadiq Umrani offered prayers for the departed soul, praying to grant him a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and to provide strength and patience to the bereaved family.
