Sadia Javed highlights Sindh govt’s commitment to youth empowerment

KARACHI, Aug 12 (APP): The spokesperson of the Sindh Government, Sadia Javed, acknowledging the indispensable role of young people in shaping the nation’s future and driving its progress, on Monday, underscored the Sindh Government’s commitment to youth empowerment through inclusive and forward-thinking policies.

The spokesperson, in her message on the International Youth Day, said that the Sindh Government has consistently prioritized initiatives that equip the youth with the education, skills and opportunities they need to excel.

“The youth are the heartbeat of our province’s development. Their energy, creativity, and innovation are the foundations upon which our future is built,” she said and vowed that Sindh Government will continue to champion the rights and aspirations of the youth to build a future where every young Pakistani can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the success of nation.

Reflecting on this year’s theme, “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development,” Sadia Javed highlighted the transformative power of digital literacy and technology in empowering young people.

“In today’s digital era, it is crucial that our youth have access to technology and the skills to harness it effectively. The Sindh Government is committed to closing the digital divide, ensuring that every young person, regardless of their background, can fully participate in the digital economy,” she stated.

She reminded the youth of the powerful words of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah: “The future of the country depends on the quality of thinking and the direction of thought of the youth. The more purposeful and elevated it is, the faster the country will progress.”
