DERA GHAZI KHAN, Oct 29 (APP):An alleged robber was killed in encounter with Darhama police here on early Wednesday.
According to police,the team was on routine patrolling when three armed robbers on a motorcycle appeared from Kot Chhuta Road and opened fire on the police.The police retaliated and during the exchange of gunshots, one robber, identified as Muhammad Shahzad, was killed, while his two accomplices managed to escape from the scene.
Police recovered a motorcycle from the spot that had reportedly been snatched at gunpoint from a local citizen.
The accused robber was involved in several criminal activities,while further investigation was underway.
