MULTAN, Jul 09 (APP):A robber was arrested following an encounter with the police near Sasham police station on Wednesday.
Police received information that three robbers had snatched a mobile phone, cash and a motorbike from a man near Qasimpur Canal, and fled towards Jeere Wali Pul.
The police cordoned off the area and signaled the accused to stop but they opened firing on the officials.
In retaliation, an accused was injured who was identified as Mursaleen of Shujabad while his accomplices, Gul Hasan and Imran, managed to escape.
