BAHAWALPUR, Nov 09 (APP): The Market Committee Department, Government of Punjab, has released the latest official rates for vegetables in Bahawalpur and nearby areas.
According to a press release issued here, the new prices include Rs. 88 per kilogram for fresh potatoes, Rs. 56 for stored potatoes, Rs. 146 for onions, Rs. 68 for tomatoes, Rs. 405 for imported (China) garlic, Rs. 280 for local garlic, Rs. 498 for Thai ginger, and Rs. 84 for imported lemons.
The rates for other vegetables were set as follows: Mongray at Rs. 154 per kg, cauliflower (closed) at Rs. 110 per kg, cauliflower (simple) at Rs. 34 per kg, carrots at Rs. 78 per kg, green chillies at Rs. 66 per kg, pumpkin at Rs. 54 per kg, saag at Rs. 46 per kg, cucumber at Rs. 84 per kg, and spinach at Rs. 34 per kg.
