ABBOTTABAD, Jul 29 (APP):The District Administration of Abbottabad Tuesday organized an open court in Dheri Kehal, chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sanaullah Khan, to address public concerns and ensure the swift redressal of grievances at the community level.
Member Provincial Assembly (PK-43), Rajab Abbasi, participated in the event as a special guest. Heads of all key provincial and federal departments were present to directly engage with the public and issue on-the-spot instructions regarding their complaints.
A large number of residents from Dheri Kehal attended the open court and presented issues related to various public services. Relevant departments were directed to take prompt action to resolve the matters raised. Departments represented included health, education, PESCO, public health engineering, communication and works, mines and minerals, revenue, local government, and others.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Sanaullah Khan reiterated the administration’s commitment to resolving public issues—particularly those of rural communities—at their doorsteps. He stressed that open courts play a vital role in bridging the gap between the public and government institutions, and announced that such forums would continue to be held regularly in both urban and rural areas across the district.
MPA Rajab Abbasi also heard citizens’ concerns and directed departmental heads to ensure timely resolution. District officers answered queries on-site and assured cooperation on matters requiring departmental coordination.
Local residents welcomed the initiative, appreciated the administration’s outreach efforts and called for more open courts to be held in future. The district administration confirmed that, under government directives, it will continue to hold such events across tehsils and remote areas to ensure that governance and service delivery reach every household.
The public has been encouraged to share their feedback or lodge complaints by visiting the DC Abbottabad office or contacting the District Control Room at 0992-9310553.
