Rescue 1122 tackles 4504 emergencies in 34 districts during last week

PESHAWAR, Nov 24 (APP): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Emergency Rescue Service (Rescue 1122) provided timely and effective services in 4504 emergencies in 34 districts of the province including merged areas during the last week from November 17 to November 23, 2025.
According to Rescue 1122 spokesperson, Bilal Ahmed Faizi, the average response time of the last week was recorded as 6 minutes and 45 seconds, which is a clear reflection of the proactive performance of the organization and public trust.
Rescue 1122 in its weekly performance report mentioned that during this period, operations were carried out in 3659 medical emergencies, 564 traffic accidents, 84 fire incidents, 6 drowning cases, 2 building collapse accidents, 69 crime emergencies and 170 other types of emergencies.
Rescue teams shifted a total of 4283 victims to hospitals after providing first aid on the spot, while 139 people lost their lives in various incidents.
Bilal Ahmed Faizi said that Rescue 1122 is active day and night to protect the lives and property of the people of the province.
He reiterated that the organization is fully committed to further improving its performance and quality of services and will remain committed to its mission of providing every possible facility to the people.
