DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Jul 07 (APP):The district emergency service Rescue 1122 provided first-aid to 2132 mourners and shifted 44 patients to hospital during processions and majalis on Ashura.
According to spokesman Aizaz Mehmood, the Rescue 1122 has set up a medical camp at Imamia Gate to provide services to the mourners in addition to deployment of 18 ambulances, four fire vehicles, three fire bike and two medical bikes teams who kept on patrolling the procession routes and other areas to provide instant first medical aid to mourners.
He said that around 150 trained rescuers were deployed, who performed their duties.
He said the rescuers also visited tehsils of the district, including Tehsil Dera, Tehsil Paharpur, Tehsil Kulachi and Tehsil Prova and they provided instant services to people.
