RAWALPINDI, Nov 02 (APP): Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122 Murree has released its monthly performance report, revealing that the service provided timely emergency assistance to a total of 2,565 victims during the last month.
According to the Command and Control Room statistics, Rescue 1122 Murree received 2,541 emergency calls related to various incidents.
The report stated that 1,202 individuals were given first aid and later shifted to different hospitals in Murree, while 1,088 victims were treated on the spot.
Unfortunately, 13 people lost their lives in different incidents.
The report further detailed that the received emergency calls included 158 road traffic accidents, 6 fire incidents, 1,721 medical emergencies, 7 crime-related cases, 147 fall injuries, and 502 other emergencies.
Additionally, 262 critically ill patients were safely shifted from local hospitals to major hospitals in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
A spokesperson for Rescue 1122 Murree said the department is working round the clock to ensure a safe society and urged citizens to immediately contact the 1122 helpline in case of any emergency so that timely assistance can be provided to save precious lives.
